Good morning everyone!
Skies have become mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s in Clifton down to the upper 30s further inland, winds are light. I picked up .85 inches of rain from yesterday’s storm.
The low pressure that gave us the rain will be intensifying as it moves up into the Canadian Maritime region and high pressure building from the west will give us a brisk northwest flow of colder air today along with partly sunny skies. Winds may gust up to 40 mph and with temperatures remaining in the 40s will make it feel much colder. Tonight will be clear with most low temperatures falling into the 20s which would end the growing season in all of our region.
Sunday will be sunny and chilly but with diminishing winds.
High pressure will be moving off the coast as a low pressure develops over the gulf states and starts moving into the area which will cause rain to develop Monday night and continue heavy at times on Tuesday, rainfall amounts will average 1-2 inches. Well inland the rain may be mixed with snow before changing to rain.
Clearing on Wednesday but it will be unseasonably cold.
Dry weather with a slow moderation in temperatures Thursday and Friday but it will still be below normal for the middle of November.
