Chilly and dry weather to continue through at least next Wednesday!


Good morning!

Skies are mostly fair across the area early on this Friday morning and temperatures are not as cold as this time yesterday,  ranging from the low 30s in Clifton down to the mid 20s further inland, winds are light.

A cold front to our west will come through our area today reinforcing more cold air into the area, skies should be mostly sunny and temperatures will not rise much during the day with readings mainly staying in the 30s.

Cold and dry weather will continue through the weekend into at least the middle of next week as the storm that we have been tracking will stay well to ours south.

There are some indications that somewhat milder air will move into our area by late next week.

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – DEC 7 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 30s.

TONIGHT – Clear and chilly, low in the low 20s.

SATURDAY – DEC 8 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 30s.

SUNDAY – DEC 9 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 30s.

MONDAY – DEC 10 – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

TUESDAY – DEC 11 – Sunny, high in the upper 30s.

WEDNESDAY – DEC 12 – Sunny, high near 40.

THURSDAY – DEC 13 – Partly sunny, high in the low 40s.

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. this morning for west-northwest wind gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet, winds and seas diminishing this afternoon.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Saturday through the day on Sunday; possible small craft conditions Sunday night through Tuesday.
