Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton down to the mid 50s further inland, winds are mainly light from the north.

High pressure will build into the area today giving us a warm day with less humidity, skies will be mostly sunny and there will be a nice breeze during the day.
Warm again with low humidity on Friday along with continued mostly sunny skies, winds will be lower than today. A weak cold front will cross the area Friday night but it should come through dry.
Dry weather Saturday and Sunday with seasonable temperatures and low humidity continuing.
A little milder and more humid on Labor Day with a chance of showers.
Dry and warmer Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hurricane Dorian is north of Puerto Rico with top winds of 85 mph, Dorian is expected to intensify and is expected to hit the Florida east coast as a major hurricane. It is possible some moisture from Dorian will move into our area toward the end of next week.
Tropical Depression Erin has top winds of 35 mph as it moves up our coast well to our east with the only effect will be some increase in swells.
MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northwest wind to 11 knots, seas 3 feet. Point Pleasant Beach ocean temperature is 66 degrees.
OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Friday through Monday.
