Unseasonably warm again today for the first day of fall! Some showers likely tonight! Cooler and less humid Tuesday and Wednesday!

Autumn began at 3:50 A.M. but the temperatures this morning are more like midsummer with readings ranging from around 70 in Clifton down to the mid 50s further inland were there may be some patchy fog. Skies are mostly fair.

Today will be unseasonably warm for the beginning of fall as temperatures once again will rise to near 90 degrees, skies will be mostly sunny and it will become breezy ahead of a cold front. The cold front will cross the area tonight likely giving us some shower and thunderstorm activity.

Cooler and less humid Tuesday and Wednesday along with plenty of sunshine both days.

Dry weather with above normal temperatures should continue Thursday through the weekend.

TODAY – SEP 23 – Mostly sunny, breezy and hot today with high near 90.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely before midnight, low in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – SEP 24 – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – SEP 25 – Sunny, high near 80.

THURSDAY – SEP 26 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – SEP 27 – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

SATURDAY – SEP 28 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

SUNDAY – SEP 29 – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 9 a.m. this morning until 2 a.m. Tuesday morning for southwest wind to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday through Friday.
