Chilly and windy weekend, watching potential storm for Tuesday into Wednesday!


A cold front came through shortly after midnight bringing in colder air and gusty northwest winds, temperatures will not rise much today with highs in the 40s slowly dropping into the 30s by sunset, wind gusts to 35 mph are likely along with a scattered snow flurry especially inland.
It will stay windy and chilly on Sunday with winds diminishing by night. Monday looks quiet and dry ahead of a storm system that will affect the area on Tuesday and Wednesday. The computer models are not in much agreement right now but have been trending to a colder solution which would mean a possible accumulating snow event for the area especially inland. Dry and cool weather at the end of next week with a warming trend still indicated for the first week of December.

The forecast:
Today – Sunny this morning then partly cloudy, windy with a chance of snow flurries, highs in the low 40s dropping off to the 30s by sunset, wind gusts to 35 mph.
Tonight – Mostly cloudy with scattered flurries in the evening then mostly clear, cold with lows in the mid 20s.
Sunday – Mostly sunny in the morning, mostly cloudy in the afternoon, breezy, highs in the low 40s.
Monday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 40s.
Tuesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow, high in the low 40s.
Wednesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow, high in the low 40s.
Thursday and Friday – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 40s.

Marine Forecast: Gale warning through late tonight: Northwest winds gusting to 35 knots, seas up to 6 feet..
Outlook: Small craft advisories still will be needed for Sunday and may lower by Monday but may again be needed for the potential storm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
