Mostly sunny, quite warm and humid today and on Sunday with a low chance of an isolated thunderstorm tomorrow afternoon! Above normal temperatures to continue much of next week!

Skies are partly to mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and it is warmer than the last couple of mornings with readings ranging from the low 70s in Clifton down to around 60 further inland. Winds are mainly calm and the humidity is high.

High pressure in our area will give us a mostly sunny day but it will be quite warm and humid with high temperatures near 90 and dew points mainly in the upper 60s.

Sunday will be a partly sunny day but there is a low chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the afternoon.

Quite warm and humid weather to continue Monday and Tuesday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms both days. A weak cold front may pass through our area Tuesday night.

Slightly cooler and less humid Wednesday and Thursday but still temperatures will be above normal.

Possibly more widespread rain on Friday as some of the remnants of the tropical systems in the Gulf of Mexico moves toward our area.

TUESDAY – AUG 25 – Mostly sunny and humid with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high near 90.

WEDNESDAY – AUG 26 – Sunny and a little cooler and less humid, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – AUG 27 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – AUG 28 – Partly sunny and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – West-southwest winds becoming south-southwest in the afternoon, seas 1 foot. Point Pleasant Beach’s ocean temperature is 73 degrees.
