Rainy and mild Tuesday!


The rain started shortly after 4am, it is mild with temperatures near a balmy 50 degrees. Today the rain will continue into the evening with about an inch falling mostly before 4pm. It will be quite mild with readings reaching the upper 50s.
Wednesday will start off mostly sunny but there is a risk of a light shower late in the day.
Much cooler on Thursday and windy with highs only around 40 and it will feel much colder with the strong winds.
Less wind on Friday and it will be a little milder.
Chance of a little light rain mixed with snow Saturday morning and at this point St. Patrick’s Day looks to be cool but with plenty of sun.
Early next week the weather looks unsettled, the European model that showed a blizzard for our area now has the storm moving to our west giving us just rain, while the American model has the storm moving to our south keeping some colder air in our area with a chance of rain or snow. Plenty of time to watch this.

The forecast: Today – Rain, could be heavy at times, high in the upper 50s.
Tonight – Showers ending around 10PM, low in the mid 30s.
Wednesday – Mostly sunny but clouding up later in the day with a chance of a shower, high in the low 50s.
Thursday – Partly sunny, windy and quite cool, high only around 40.
Friday – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.
Saturday – Chance of light rain or snow in the morning, clearing by the afternoon, high in the upper 40s.
St.Patrick’s Day – Mostly sunny, high in the low-mid 40s.
Monday – Partly sunny, chance or rain or snow developing at night, high in the mid 40s.

Marine Forecast: Small craft advisory till 8am Wednesday – Today – Southwest wind to 30 knots, seas up to 9 feet.
Outlook: – Advisory may be needed for rough seas the rest of Wednesday and for winds and seas on Thursday, falling below advisory levels on Friday before rising to near small craft advisory levels with the cold front on Saturday.
