A weak front will be approaching our area today and we will have a mostly cloudy, very warm and humid day with some scattered showers and thunderstorms likely although much of the time it will remain dry.
Weak high pressure will then move into the area Thursday into Friday. Skies will be partly sunny but it will be hot, highs on Thursday will be in the mid 90s and with dew points in the upper 60s will cause heat indexes to rise to around 100. Friday will be less hot but more humid as dew points return to the oppressive 70s. There is a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms both days.
A series of weak fronts will cause unsettled weather for the weekend. Temperatures will be near 90 both days with high humidity and there will again be a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms both days.
Monday will continue to be partly sunny, quite warm and humid but at this point, Tuesday will be mostly sunny cooler and less humid as high pressure builds into our area.
