Weak high pressure will then move into the area Thursday into Friday. Skies will be partly sunny but it will be hot, highs on Thursday will be in the mid 90s and with dew points in the upper 60s will cause heat indexes to rise to around 100. Friday will be less hot but more humid as dew points return to the oppressive 70s. There is a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms both days.
