CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR NOVEMBER 11TH:
AVERAGE HIGH: 55 AVERAGE LOW: 37
RECORD HIGH: 69 – 2020 RECORD LOW: 21 – 2017
YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 56 LOW: 38 PRECIPITATION: .09″ (first measurable rainfall in a record 42 days!)
The frontal system that caused our first measurable rain in six weeks is moving offshore. Total rainfall was only .20″ which will only put a small dent into our current drought. We should see clearing by late this morning and it will become breezy and mild with highs well up into the 60s. A second cold front will come through dry tonight.
High pressure building down from the Great Lakes will give us a dry and cooler day on Tuesday along with brisk winds. With these winds we will once again have a chance of more brush and wildfires.
The coolest air of the season is expected for Wednesday and Thursday with dry conditions. Low temperatures may dip to below freezing and daytime highs will struggle to reach the 50 degree mark.
High pressure will dominate our weather Friday through Sunday with dry conditions continuing along with milder temperatures.
