A warm front in our area will give us cloudy skies today with mild temperatures, there is a chance of showers this afternoon but most places will remain dry. A strong frontal system will move into our area tonight with rain developing mainly after 10 p.m.

Wednesday will be a stormy day with rain heavy at times, a strong southerly wind will cause temperatures to rise well up into the 60s. The cold front with this system will cross the area Wednesday night with colder air behind the storm but the precipitation should end before any change over to snow. Rainfall amounts will average around two inches.

Thursday will be a much colder day with brisk westerly winds, skies however will be sunny.

Dry and cold weather is expected for Friday but with less wind.

Not as cold on the weekend but there will be a chance of showers on Sunday.

Today we will see an increase in clouds as a low pressure system moves toward our area. Rain from this system is expected mainly from around noon to 6 p.m. Total rainfall will average between 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

Tuesday will be a cloudy and mild day, the morning should be dry but there will be a chance of showers in the afternoon. Rain is expected at night.

Wednesday will be quite mild as we will have a strong southerly flow. Rain heavy at times during the day and night with rainfall amounts 1-2 inches which will help our drought situation. A strong cold front will come through at night, some of the rain may change to snow before ending well inland.

Thursday will be a mostly sunny but cold day with rather strong winds as a high pressure builds into our area.

Still cold on Friday but with diminishing winds.

The weekend will not be as chilly, we should be dry on Saturday but a weak disturbance may touch off some rain or snow showers on Sunday.

A weak disturbance is moving offshore this morning and we should see some clearing by late this morning. Temperatures will be milder with highs reaching the lower 50s.

A quick moving low pressure area will give us rain Monday afternoon ending by early in the evening. Rainfall amounts will average between 1/4 to 1/2 inch. With more clouds high temperatures should be a little lower than today.

Tuesday morning should be dry but a complex low pressure system will give us more well needed rain mainly Tuesday night through Wednesday evening. The rain will be heavy at times with more than one inch expected. The storm will move offshore Wednesday night followed by much colder air.

High pressure will dominate our weather Thursday through the start of next weekend with below normal temperatures.

High pressure to our south will give us a westerly flow of still chilly air, winds will be lighter than the last couple of days. Skies will start off mostly cloudy but becoming mostly sunny this afternoon before more clouds move in for tonight.

Sunday will be milder and will becoming mostly sunny again after early overcast skies.

A frontal system is expected to give us rain Monday afternoon and evening, it will continue to be mild despite the precipitation and clouds.

After a short break in the precipitation Tuesday morning more showers are possible in the afternoon with rain expected at night.

A stronger and complex weather system will give us rain on Wednesday possibly heavy at times. The rain may briefly change to snow well inland Wednesday night as colder air moves into the area.

Dry weather Thursday and Friday with seasonably cold temperatures.

A strong low over the Canadian maritime region in combination with high pressure centered over the middle of the country will give us a westerly flow of cold air. Winds will be lighter than yesterday but still gust to 25 mph at times.

The weekend weather looks to be mainly dry as high pressure builds closer to our area. There is a slight chance of some flurries Saturday night mainly to our north and west. Highs will be in the upper 30s on Saturday but rise to the upper 40s on Sunday.

Unsettled weather Monday through Wednesday as a couple of frontal systems move through the area. Temperatures will be mild.

High pressure will then build into our area on Thursday with cooler temperatures.
