High pressure over the area will give us a mostly sunny day with light winds, high temperatures will be similar to yesterday with highs near 60.

A little milder but with a little more clouds on Tuesday as a warm front approaches and moves through the area at night. There may be some sprinkles with the warm front but most areas will remain dry.

A southwest flow of unseasonably warm air will be with us Wednesday and again on Halloween with some records likely.

A cold front will cross the area on Friday giving us the best chance of some showers this week but it will not be a drought buster with probably less than 1/4″ of rainfall is expected.

The upcoming weekend looks dry again with near seasonable temperatures.

High pressure building into our area will give us sunny weather today and again on Monday with near seasonable temperatures. Winds will be lighter than the last couple of days.

The record dry period should continue through the rest of the month as high pressure slowly moves off the coast. There will be a warming trend with Tuesday’s highs in the 60s and then well up into the 70s to near 80 Wednesday and on Halloween. It should be the warmest Halloween on record.

The next chance of showers is with a cold front Friday morning, but the precipitation if it occurs will be light.

More dry weather next weekend with near seasonable temperatures as another high pressure builds into our area.

Today is the 27th straight day without measurable rainfall which is the longest period of dry weather since my records began. The previously longest was in May of 2001 when there were 26 days without rainfall. This record dry spell is expected to continue this weekend through next week, as this October may be the first month without any measurable precipitation.

A cold front will come through dry this morning followed by a brisk northwest flow of dry air, high temperatures will be a little above normal. With the winds and dry conditions there is a chance of brush fires.

High pressure will then build into our area for Sunday and Monday, skies will be mostly sunny each day but temperatures will be slightly cooler than normal.

The dry weather is expected to continue the rest of next week as the high pressure moves slowly offshore and we will have a southwest flow of warmer air. Highs on Wednesday should be well up into the 70s and record highs are likely on Halloween with highs possible rising to the low 80s. Still mild on Friday as a cold front approaches our area.

Dry and cool weather Sunday and Monday as the high builds closer to our area, there will be less wind than on Saturday.

A cold front is moving through the area this morning with some clouds and sprinkles, the front will be followed by a brisk northwest flow of cooler air today. High temperatures should reach the upper 60s which is still above normal. Clear and cooler tonight as temperatures drop to the 40s by Friday morning with some frost possible further inland.

High pressure will be over the area on Friday giving us sunny skies, light winds and slightly above normal temperatures.

Another cold front is expected to come through dry on Saturday. Skies will be partly sunny with temperatures again slightly above normal.

High pressure will then build into our area for Sunday and Monday with dry conditions and slightly below normal temperatures.

Our impressive dry period should continue the rest of next week and it will become milder. In fact it may be the warmest Halloween with highs expected to rise to well up into the 70s to possibly up to 80 degrees.
