Today will be a mostly sunny, breezy and mild day, a cold front will come through dry this afternoon switching the winds to the northwest.

The front will move just to our south at night and we should see an increase in clouds.

Sunday will be a partly sunny day but with a chance of showers as the front to our south will move into our area. Showers will become more likely at night with even a chance of a thunderstorm.

A stronger front will come through on Monday with still a chance of lingering showers then followed by a strong west-northwest flow of cooler air.

Canadian high pressure will be with us Tuesday through the rest of the week bringing in the coolest air of the season. so far Most highs will only be in the 50s and overnight lows near 40 and the 30s inland with possible frost.

Some frost and freeze inland and the temperature at Walpack has fallen to a chilly 29 degrees. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is good with an index of 17.

The Northern Lights were visible across our area last night.

High pressure will build over the region today and with sunny skies temperatures will rise quickly today to around 70 degrees.

Even milder on Saturday as the high moves offshore, high temperatures will be well up into the 70s along with mostly sunny skies.

A frontal system will likely give us our first measurable precipitation so far this month. There will be a chance of showers during the day on Sunday but become more likely at night that may extend into early Monday morning.

An expansive area of high pressure will move down from central Canada into our area giving us dry and chilly conditions Tuesday through Thursday with some frost likely during the early morning hours.

The high pressure will move over us on Friday and we will have another sunny day but it will become milder after a chilly early morning.

Saturday will be a mostly sunny and quite mild day with highs well up into the 70s, a weak cold front will cross the area at night but with no rain.

Sunday will not be as mild as we will have more clouds and a chance of showers as a stronger cold front crosses our area.

A weak disturbance will cause mostly cloudy skies this morning with only a slight chance of some sprinkles. Skies should become mostly sunny this afternoon with near seasonable temperatures.

Canadian high pressure will build into the area for Thursday and Friday. Thursday will be a chilly fall day with highs only in the low 60s and some gusty winds will make it feel even cooler. Winds diminish Thursday night and we should have our coldest temperatures of the season along with some frost further inland. It will be milder during the day on Friday with highs in the upper 60s.

The weekend looks to be mainly dry and mild, highs should be in the mid 70s on Saturday and then 70 on Sunday. A weak frontal system may cause some showers Sunday night.

Dry but cool weather is expected early next week as another Canadian high pressure builds into our area.

Today will start off sunny but we should see an increase in clouds this afternoon as a weak front approaches our area. There is a slight chance of a shower tonight into Wednesday morning but most areas will stay dry. Temperatures will be seasonably mild with highs near 70.

Wednesday will have that slight chance of a shower in the morning then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon with near seasonable temperatures.

The coolest air of the season is still expected for Thursday into Friday morning as highs will only be in the low 60s on Thursday with overnight lows in the 40s with the 30s inland. A little milder Friday afternoon as highs will reach the upper 60s.
